Triethyl phosphate (TEP for short), triethyl phosphate is a high boiling point solvent, a plasticizer for rubber and plastics. Also a catalyst. It is also used as a raw material for the preparation of pesticides and pesticides. And as an ethylating reagent for ketene production. In Japan, 70% of the product is used as catalyst, and about 20% is used as solvent. As stabilizer, it is chlorine-based insecticide and stabilizer; stabilizer for phenolic resin; solid agent for sugar alcohol resin. In terms of synthetic resins, curing agent of xylenol formaldehyde resin; softener of phenolic resin used in shell molds; softener of vinyl chloride; plasticizer of vinyl acetate polymer; flame retardant of polyester resin.
